Bolsterstone Bolsterstone
The company was formed in 1988 by Directors, Peter Swallow and Mike Corker, following the successful disposal of interests in manufacturing companies. Since formation, the company has established a strong track record of delivering commercial property developments for a variety of corporate organisations and on a speculative basis. The company has been particularly successful in establishing strong relationships with several large private sector organisations resulting in repeat commissions for projects which have been financed and delivered in various parts of the UK.

These have included a number of projects in regional locations for companies such as Arnold Laver & Co, Lynx Express parcels (Now UPS), B&Q, Yorkshire Bank, Co-op, Bathstore, and KFC. Current projects include a 400 acre leisure scheme in Moneystone, Staffordshire, which involves the re-development of a former sand quarry, to create a major Leisure Park, of regional and national importance.

Bolsterstone has recently created a specialist urban regeneration sister company Urbo Regeneration to tackle large scale mixed use joint ventures in partnership with the public and private sectors. Currently these include major partnerships schemes such as Chesterfield Waterside, a 60 acre edge of town centre scheme which is listed as the 50th largest project in the UK by regeneration and renewal magazine, and the Canal Road Urban Village project in Bradford, a project which will deliver circa 1500 new homes, together with commercial and employment space.

Bolsterstone has also spent several years investing in renewable energy sources and has formed a specialist subsidiary, Bolsterstone Wind Power, which has a team dedicated to delivery of onshore wind projects.

Urbo Life Limited was formed in 2007, for the purpose of developing high quality energy efficient homes for sale on the private housing market. An initial development in, Norwich comprising a total of 22 .three to five bedroom homes is currently under construction, and a number of the units have already been sold.
